The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
